Acoustic Beginner Guitar Purchase - the Best for the Money that I've Seen In Studio

ACOUSTIC GUITARS FOR UNDER 200 DOLLARS

I've been meaning to write this for weeks. Kind of contemplating if I should. In between the rewire/rebuild of the pedal board (i'll do that post too).

Here's the deal, I get asked this beginner guitar question a lot, being a guitar teacher and all. And there's so many factors to it. How does it feel to you? What's your budget? (It's an instrument after all...it's not supposed to hurt your wallet). And let's be clear...you get what you pay for. A martin is a beautifully crafted guitar. So is a Taylor and many others. However, 2000 USD is not easy to come by all the time!!

So what is the best way to gauge the acoustic guitar? I think it's use!  If a guitar is bought, used for a long time and still is useful then that's a great guitar. You can hand it off. I bet my mom and dad think my first acoustic was a great investment at under 200. I used it, I toured with it, my sisters learned on it, my brother learned on it, my nephews used it for a bit each and now I use it every day at the  studio. When was the last time you bought an item under $200 and made people happy for decades?

Onward to the answer you came for.....

My top picks for Acoustic guitars under $200!  (prices per Amazon.com)

This is the Fender FA-100 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar

The first is the classic FENDER. No pickup, no frills. This guitar has been making an appearance in my studio a lot and there's a lot of miles on it! But when we mic this one up it sounds amazing!

It's always making a great turnout!!     I believe it comes in the Starter pack too!

Find it and purchase it here http://amzn.to/2eeX2Fb
Starter pack is here http://amzn.to/2epCOIw

Always ready to get miced up and have a song written on this, it's my top pick. I never thought a Fender acoustic would stand here...but for under $200...this is it. It comes in on Amazon.com for under $120!! yep....$120!

Here's number 2.....

Second in my acoustic beginner guitar list is the Epiphone Acoustic DR 100 Dreadnought
The all natural comes in at under $120! No pickup, no frills but high on survival rating!
Pick this up here  http://amzn.to/2enWsmL

Try it for 20 cheaper here in Vintage Sunburst  for more of a darker johnny cash vibe! I dig this more, personally!!! :)

This guitar has come in over the years, mostly abandoned and beat up and it still tunes up and sings nicely for less than $200! Sometimes...less than $100!!The used market probably has it at the yard sale for seriously cheap, too.

3rd......is......

Ibanez AW54OPN Artwood Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar - Open Pore Natural

My third and last acoustic guitar for beginners under $200 is the Ibanez
Japanese company who makes a great guitar!
This guitar is a monster looker and a great buy right under the budget, all the while has great action, great tone and a sweet look on it! This will last a long long time. And they play very well and are super stylish!

This is at Amazon for $199USD here http://amzn.to/2epA1ik - Just under the $200.

Prices are from Amazon . com.  And I may benefit from the use of those links, so thank you in advance for using them.

While there...buy some Fear The State songs or my Christmas song, I Almost Met Santa Claus :)

Please let me know your favorite acoustic guitar in the comments.

Thanks for reading. I hope this helped! Strum on....strum on.

GRATEFUL DEAD SONGS

I have this crazy desire to go learn a whole mess of Jerry Garcia. I wonder how that will go? UNCLE JOHNS BAND....CASEY JOHNS....ST STEPHENS...these songs play in my head every once in a while.

Do you ever think of crazy ideas and.do the follow through? Like, even if it doesn't make sense? Isn't that called living? I don't know.....maybe I'm mistaken.

You ponder that....I'm gotta go learn some workings man's dead!
